What to expect working as an Invo Speech-Language Therapist

Invo Speech-Language Pathologists work in a classroom, small group, or one-on-one, depending on the speech disorder. Most SLP roles work on-site but we also offer virtual and travel roles available across the nation depending on location.

What to expect:

  • Evaluates, diagnoses and treats speech, language and cognitive-communication disorders.
  • Implements SLP therapy treatment for school-aged children with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays.
  • Serves as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team for students with speech and/or language concerns.
  • Facilitates goals and objectives per child's educational plan.
  • Collaborates with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students.

What to expect working as an Invo Occupational Therapist

What to expect:

  • Evaluates disorders and delays that affect students' ability to perform daily activities and reach their educational goals.
  • Develops and improves student's ability to independently perform tasks.
  • Serves as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concerns.
  • Facilitates goals and objectives per child's educational plan.
  • Works in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students.
  • Effectively communicates with teachers, administrators, and parents.
  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations.

What to expect working as an Invo Physical Therapist

Invo Physical therapists work in collaboration with physical therapy assistants, educators, social workers, nurses, or providers to treat children pre-K to high school and in a variety of school-based settings.

What to expect:

  • Evaluates and treats students, helping them negotiate the school environment, improve school performance, and engage with their peers.
  • Serves as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with physical therapy concerns.
  • Collaboration with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
  • Facilitates goals and objectives per child's educational plan.
  • Assists children with mobility.
  • Assists in developing plans to improve gross and sensory motor development.
  • Conducts. family training sessions when necessary.
  • Ensures all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations.
